KSS Incidents 21 – 30 April 2025
23 April 2025 14:00 Paddock Crescent (Howick) The KSS Control Room received an alarm activation. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that there had been a suspect on site. Access was gained by jumping over the main gate. A cell phone was stolen. SAPS were formally advised. A case was opened.

26 April 2025 06:24 Ogilvie Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received a CCTV camera activation showing a suspect on site. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that the suspect fled when he realised he had been spotted. The stripped copper pipes were recovered by KSS Officers. Access was gained by using rubble to climb onto the roof and then jump over the fence. The client was advised.

26 April 2025 15:08 Rotunda Road (Hilton) The KSS Control Room received a call from the client requesting assistance. A KSS Response Team was dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that a suspect had been apprehended for stealing maize. Access was gained through the fence. As per the client no need for SAPS.

27 April 2025 05:50 Old Main Road (Merrivale) The KSS Control Room received a CCTV camera activation showing a suspect on site. KSS Response Teams were dispatched. The KSS Officers reported that the suspect had fled. Nothing was stolen or damaged. As per the client no need for SAPS. KSS conducted additional patrols.

Upgrade your alarms to cover vulnerable areas. Cut back excessive foliage.
