KSS Incidents 17 - 30 July 2026
Dear KSS Clients
The second half of June remained extremely active for KSS Response Teams, who attended a wide range of incidents including residential and commercial break-ins, copper and cable theft, shoplifting, trespassing, stock theft, malicious damage, and violent crime.
During this reporting period, KSS Response Officers successfully apprehended multiple suspects in connection with theft-related incidents, recovering stolen property and working alongside SAPS to ensure offenders were taken into custody. These arrests are a direct result of vigilant patrols, rapid response times, valuable information received from the public, and the close working relationships KSS maintains with Local Law Enforcement.
We would once again like to remind our clients and the wider community of the importance of reporting all criminal activity and opening a case with SAPS. Every reported incident contributes to identifying crime trends, strengthens ongoing investigations, supports successful prosecutions, and assists in ensuring that adequate policing resources are allocated where they are needed most.
As always, we encourage residents and businesses to remain vigilant by securing vulnerable items, maintaining perimeter fencing, testing alarm systems regularly, ensuring outdoor lighting is operational, and reporting any suspicious persons or activity immediately. Working together as a community remains one of the most effective ways to reduce crime and keep our neighbourhoods safe.
